God’s Word says, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16).
When we pray, we recognized that God is not limited or bound by circumstances. No matter how grim the situation, He will intervene in the lives of Believers. However, prayer should never be random or pointless. God watches over His Word to perform it because it is the “living” Word in your mouth that brings results. Prayer is not only a lifeline for Believers, but it affects the lives of others, as well.
Dr. Betty R. Price teaches the principles of Intercessory Payer. The type of prayer allows the Believer to pray on behalf of others. First Timothy 2:1 exhorts Believers that “first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men.”
