There are six variations of the word “suffer” in the New Testament text of the traditional King James Version of the Bible.  The six variations of the word are “suffer,” “suffered,” “sufferest,” “suffereth,” “suffering,” and “sufferings.  The translators used some version of the word “suffer” in English to translate 27 different Greek words.  In this section of the series, we will look at these 27 different Greek words and examine the context and their specific definitions.
