The Book of Galatians Pt. 2
Christians must make a clear choice between following the Law and accepting God’s grace. The new relationship Believers have with Christ will not benefit them if they insist on living by the Law and self-effort. In Christ, such works have no value. The only thing that counts is faith expressed through love.
In Part 2 of this two-part series, Dr. Price discusses the fruit of the spirit and how they relate to holiness.
The Law shows how love would act, but it has never produced love within the heart of man.Spiritual gifts and the fruit of the spirit are balanced and designed to work together in the born-again Believer.
The characteristics of the fruit of the spirit are in stark contrast to the works of the flesh.
The fruit of the spirit are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
