The Book of Romans Pt. 7
The Apostle Paul makes an appeal for commitment, marked by humility and faithfulness. The Christian is to present his body to God as his reasonable service. He is not to conform to or fit the mold of the world, but to have a transformed mind so as to know and prove the will of God. Believers are to exercise spiritual gifts in service, remembering that these gifts are from the Lord. Paul’s Conclusive exhortation is to live in harmony with one another and let love be the guiding principle. In Part 7 of this eight-part series, Dr. Price outlines a process for transformation that will lead to a new outlook on life.
- Romans 12:1 says, “that you present your bodies a living sacrifice.” Dr. Price expounds on the terms “you” and “bodies,” which are two separate entities.
- God has dealt to every Believer the measure of faith, but they must consistently nourish that faith with the Word of God in order to grow spiritually.
- There are many duties required of the Christians. However, the dominant tone in all the exhortations is love!
