The Book of ACTS Pt. 1A
THE Book of ACTS
Part 1A: Acts 1:1 – 2:13
(Discs 1 – 6)
The most striking characteristic of the Book of Acts is the person and work of the Holy Spirit. It was the early Christian community, as recorded in Acts that was filled with a dynamic power that touched the lives of each Believer even to this day. The expansion of the Church was due to a great work of God, who responded to the gospel message. In Acts we learn that through the power from on high that will enable them to triumph in every area of their lives.
In Part 1A of this twelve-part series, Dr. Price introduces God’s purpose for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
The Book of Acts is being continually fulfilled to this day.
Witnessing for Jesus Christ transcends telling others about Jesus. A Christian’s greatest witness to the world is by demonstration of how they live.
Dr. Price explains why Jesus came into the earth as a man in need of the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
The promised coming of the Holy Spirit is marked by three unmistakable sings: A sudden rushing sound, divided tongues, as of fire, and speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:1-4).
