The Faith That Takes
Too many Christians have the faith that waits instead of the faith that takes. They are waiting for God to do something about their circumstances, and God is waiting for them to do something first. There is a stalemate, and no one is receiving anything. We must actively reach out and take hold of God’s promise and make them a part of our everyday lives.
Fear is one of the greatest obstacles to faith.
Patience, that quality of remaining steadfast under trial and difficulty, is required to receive God’s promises.
Believers are encouraged to remain confident in Christ, which carries with it a great reward.
Some say, “This faith thing doesn’t work.” The problem is that they are attempting to believe beyond their level of faith, and they become discouraged and give up.
Christians must be fully convinced that they can have what God says they can have and can do what He says they can do, through Jesus.
One of the greatest weapons Satan uses against people is guilt. God’s Word says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus…”
Are Christians being cheated out of their inheritance? Are they settling for less than what God has for them? Believers must know that God is not withholding anything from his people.
