The Book of Philippians Pt. 3
The exaltation of Christ was the result of His redemptive work. He now has a higher state of glory than He had before His incarnation. “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above very name” (Philippians 2:9). Everyone who believes in that name and confesses the Lordship of Jesus becomes a part of the family of God. Jesus I not just he name of a historical person, but His name represents God’s concern in the affairs of men.
