Fruit of the Spirit
At the new birth, seeds of the fruit of the spirit are planted in the Believer, as are the character traits of the recreated human spirit. These seeds of fruit are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
Developing the fruit of the spirit enables the Believer to live a holy life. Therefore, the actions of God’s people and the choices they make should increasingly express true holiness that is fully experienced in Christ. Dr. Betty R. Price contrasts the works of the flesh with the fruit of the spirit.
In this compilation of teaching by Dr. Betty you will receive the following messages:
Holiness: Holiness is never seen as a human quality, but an expression of a unique relationship with God.
Love: “…and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing” (I Corinthians 3:15).
Peace: In this world of uncertainties, it is vital that Believers learn to walk in peace. The scripture tells us to “…let the peace of God rule in your heats…and be thankful” (Colossians 3:15).
