The Jews brought Jesus before Pilate, the Roman governor of Jesea who had the authority to pass the death sentence on Him.  During his examination, Pilate learned that Jesus' kingdom "is not of this world" (John 18:36).  Therefore, Pilate refused to pass any judgment on Jesus, and announced to the Jews that there was no basis for their charges against Him.  Yet, the Jews shouted their demand for crucifixion, finally revealing that the real reason they wanted Jesus killed was that he claimed to be the Son of God.  I Part 12B Dr. Price concludes this twelve-part series with a discussion of the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus.

Pilate ordered and epitaph identifying Jesus as "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews" (John 19:19).

On the cross, Jesus said, :itis finished!" (John 19:30) meaning the Old Covenant had been fulfilled.

Thomas had sworn not to believe Jesus was risen until he touched Jesus' nail-pierced hands and felt the hole in his said (John 19:34).

Dr. Price explains why believers must act on what they believe--faith.
