When the Apostle Paul cast a demon out of the slave girl used as a fortuneteller, her furious owners accused him of causing uproar in the city.  A mob formed and Paul and Silas were beaten and thrown into prison (Acts 16:22-24).  However, as a result of their continual praise, a jailer asked Paul and Silas how to be saved.  Their answer was simple:  "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household" (v. 16:31).

In Part 5B of this twelve-part series, Dr. Price discusses why Believers experience persecution when they threaten Satan's kingdom.

Paul spoke to the evil spirit, not the girl, saying "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ t come out of her: (Acts 16:18).

Believers should not become preoccupied with demons or allow them to dominate all their thinking.  A person acting unusual is not always possessed with a demon.

Believers must allow the Holy Spirit to assist them in the discerning of spirits (1 Corinthians 12:10).
