Wisdom from Above Part 3
James 1:2-3, tells us to “Count
it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your
faith produces patience.” This is the proper attitude for addressing adversity,
which is not an emotional reaction but a deliberate assessment of each
situation. Decisions should be made based on careful thinking, not on the
emotions of the moment. To be tempted, tried or tested is not a sin, but
yielding to any can produce sin in the Believer’s life.

is what we become. What we keep on our is where we are. Our thoughts shape our
behavior. What we do is what we think and we really are what we think.
Peace in a Non-Peaceful Environment: Peace is a fruit of the
recreated born-again spirit. It is one of the fruit of the spirit, but it has
to be developed. Fruit has to grow. Peace means to bind together, to join, to
weave together; it means that a person is sound, woven together and joined with
himself, with God and others.
